Sallie Ann Lemon Powers

Our dear mother, Sallie Ann Lemon Powers, sadly passed away on February 8, 2024 at age 81 with her daughter's by her side. She was the most wonderful mother and always there when we needed her.  She was born January 18 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to William and Annabelle Lemon.  Her family later moved to Salem where Sallie remained to marry and raise her family. 

Sallie was married for 60 years to Patrick L. Powers Sr. until his passing on June 8, 2023.  She is survived by her son, Patrick L. Powers Jr., daughters', Amy Powers Judd, Mollie Powers Day and her 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  

A memorial service will be on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM in Lotz Funeral Home, 1330 East Main Street Salem, Virginia 234153. A reception will follow the memorial service.
