Sally Marie Naff

Sally Marie Naff, age 83 of Virginia Beach, formerly of Franklin County, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024. She was born May 27, 1941, the daughter of the late Elmer and Ava Montgomery Naff. Two years ago, she was preceded in death by her brother, David Montgomery Naff.As a teenager in Franklin County she participated in county activities. She was president of the 4-H club (1955) and one of the Chorus Girls in the Rocky Mount Hometown Jubilee (October 25 and 26 1956). In 1959 she was selected as Miss Franklin county. Sally moved to Virginia Beach where she completed her education. For the next 35 years, she enjoyed teaching in several different schools in Virginia Beach.Funeral services will be held at Antioch Church of the Brethren, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount, VA.
