Sammy Delano Brown

Sammy Delano Brown Sr., 76, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Mulberry Creek Health and Rehab. He was born June 19, 1946, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Dan Alcorn and Katie Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Jones and Pearl Nibblett; and brothers, Billy Brown and Jeremiah Brown. He lived his younger life in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He enjoyed fishing and having fun. Sammy is survived by his son, Sammy Brown, Jr.; brother, Danny Alcorn; numerous grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be announced at a later date.
