Samuel Douglas Lipscomb, Jr.

Samuel Douglas Lipscomb, Jr 67, of Martinsville, VA transitioned on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the home of his daughter. He was born in Abingdon, VA on December 13, 1954, a son of the late Samuel and Juanita Manning Lipscomb, Sr.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and was a truck driver. He was also a member of the Sportsmen Club of Martinsville, VA.
Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Tashema Waller, of Martinsville, VA; three sons, Adonis Lipscomb, of Dallas, TX; Julian Lipscomb, of Martinsville, VA; and Shavis Lipscomb, of Collinsville, VA; two sisters, Monica (Muncie) Deshazo, and Patrice Hickman, both of Collinsville, VA; three brothers, Keith (Tamarah) Lipscomb, of Raleigh, NC; Mark Young, of Martinsville, VA; and Albert (Frances) Young, of Fieldale, VA; and 15 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 4:00 PM at Collinsville Jaycee Park in Collinsville, VA. Burial will be private.
