Samuel Lucas

Samuel Dalton Lucas, age 14, of Covington, died Monday, February 13, 2023, at Carillion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke.
Samuel was born August 6, 2008 in Greenbrier County, WV, the son of Crystal Lynn Hubbard Lucas and William Christopher Lucas. He was a lifetime resident of this community. Samuel was of the Christian faith. A wonderful child, he brought a smile to everyone's face and will be missed by all of those that knew him.
In addition to his parents, Samuel was survived by a sister, Zoe Lynn Lucas; his grandmother, Teresa Lynn Jones; great grandparents, Shirley Jones and John Jones; and a number of family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Samuel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Lucas Roles and his aunt, Mary Alice Lucas.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 19, 2023, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home.
