Sandra Brickey

Sandra Faye (Kegley) Brickey, 77, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025. Born on August 22, 1947, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. 

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Motley Kegley Sr. and Mary Elnora Peterson, one brother Roy Kegley Jr. as well as her beloved son, Allen Brickey. 

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Mitchell (Bill) and Lynn Ellison; her grandchildren, Amanda Mitchell (fiancé Michael Weldon), Rodger Mitchell, and Taylor Dickerson (Brent); and her great-grandchildren, Keeley Mitchell and Marleigh Weldon. Sandra is also survived by her sisters, Betty Jean Maynor (Gerry) and Pat Sigmon (Jack); and Damien Thomas who she babysat and was like a grandson to her.

Sandra had a passion for life’s simple joys. She loved working on puzzles, listening to music, and watching HGTV. Her warmth, kindness, and love for her family will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
