Sandra Faye Angus

Sandra Faye Reynolds Angus, 77, of Madison Heights, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

Born on April 8, 1948 in Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Reynolds and Frances Sessler Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Warren Angus, Sr.; two grandchildren, Kevin Angus and Julia Rose Angus; and three sisters, Sylvia Reynolds, Sheila Yvonne Reynolds and Cynthia Reynolds Wright.

Sandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a very special spot in her heart for animals and had many faithful canine companions with her longest being Tippy, for over 18 years. She was always looking out for her family and would give the shirt off her back if someone needed it.

She is survived by her four sons, David Warren Angus, Jr. (Beth) of Gladstone, Vincent Angus (Cindy) of Madison Heights, Corey Angus (Ellen) of Bedford, Shannon Angus (Michelle) of Alton; grandchildren, DeLane and Joey Fitzgerald, David Angus III, Autom Angus, Jonathan Angus, Mikie Angus, Colby Angus, Taryn Angus; 14 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley Reynolds Ashwell and Sharon Caler.

The family will celebrate Sandra’s life with a visitation for family and friends on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Whitten Monelison Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Amherst Humane Society, 318 Shelter Way, Amherst VA 24521 in honor of Sandra's deep love and compassion towards animals.
