Sandra Mae Hairston Wilson

Sandra Mae Hairston Wilson, 70, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away Monday, February 6, 2023, at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born June 25, 1952, in Eden, North Carolina to the late Henry V. Hairston “Butch” and Viola Penn Hairston. She was a member of Reach Out Apostolic Church and had worked for Henry County Schools. She was a member of the choir and kitchen staff, loved music, cooking and watching westerns and soap operas.

She is survived by sons, Johnny Martin, Jr. (Yolanda) and Kevin Martin (Sandra); and grandchild,

Keoshia Martin.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 11:30 A. M. at Reach Out Apostolic Church, with Bishop Hall officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hairston Martin Cemetery, Hobson Road, Axton, Virginia. A floating visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends and family for the next couple of days after 12 Noon at, 120 Charles Street, Apartment 7, Collinsville, Virginia.
