Sandra Reynolds

Sandra “Sandy” Lee Reynolds, 78, of Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024.She worked for the City of Roanoke as a DDS, but with EXT to help people in need receive their disability benefits. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Reynolds and Alice Reynolds; ex-husband and friend, John Bedilion.Sandra is survived by her son, Jason Bedillion; daughter, Amber Bedillion; granddaughter, Maggie Hutton; grandson, Aaron Woolwine (Joy); great-granddaughter, Viyanna Woolwine; sisters, Alyce Huffman, Nancy Haigh, Beverly Shumar; nieces, Jennifer Krummert, Heidi Krummert; nephews, Gabriel Haigh, Rob Shumar; great-nephews, Tyler Meyers and Cory Meyers; great-niece, Davin Tate.Sandra was a faithful Catholic whose love for her family was infectious. She was the glue holding the family together and never missed a family gathering. Her friends say she was loud, loving, feisty and was definitely from the north. She was a huge Steelers fan who never met a stranger. She loved coffee and had a huge sweet tooth, which helped her to easily connect with kids who always loved her. She was unapologetically herself with no worries of what others thought. She would break out into song in a crowd and encourage those around her to join. She was also a fitness instructor, loved putting her toes into the ocean and sand and will be sorely missed.A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church, 2505 Electric Rd, Roanoke, VA 24018, on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, internment will take place at St Andrew's Diocesan Cemetery, 3601 Salem Tpke NW, Roanoke, VA 24017, in the Columbarium.
