Sandra Ogden “Sandy” Mays, 66, of Concord passed away on July 2, 2023, at her residence.

Born on July 10, 1957, in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. “Curly” Ogden, Sr., and Julia “Judy” Gibson Ogden. She was retired from Thomasville Furniture Manufacturing and was a member of New Concord Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two children, Calvin Louis “Duck” Mays of Lynchburg, and Tiffany Marie “Boo” Mays of Concord; two granddaughters, Christi Faye Klein, and Brooklyn Kay “BB” Mays; one brother, Edward Ogden, Jr., of Concord; and one sister, Debbie Roach and husband, Johnny of Huddleston.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm, Thursday July 6, 2023, at New Concord Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carlos Malavé officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm, Wednesday July 5 at Robinson Funeral Home.
