Sarah Boyd Edwards

Sarah Olive Boyd Edwards, 78 of Evington, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.She was born in Tazwell County on October 5, 1945, daughter of the late Clarence W. Boyd and the late Sarah B. Boyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Calvin L. Edwards, Sr. to whom she had been married for over 60 years; a grandson, Dustin Edwards and her brother, Doug Boyd.Sarah loved playing games on the computer and watching TV, but her greatest joy was playing with her dogs over the years.Left to cherish her memory are her children, Calvin Edwards, Jr. (Sandra), Larry Edwards, and Joyce Seamster (Darryl); a brother, Jerry Boyd; five grandchildren, Jerry Edwards, Ashley Hubbard (John) Shawn Edwards (Shannon), Daniel Rogers (Lexi) and Spencer Wright. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and her 4 legged best friend, Taz.A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Norwood Baptist Church, 1045 Random Way, Forest, VA with Pastor Sam Stump, Jr. officiating.
