Selma Lee

Selma Louise Shaffier Lee, age 78, of The Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs, Virginia died on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at The Springs.
She was born on August 23, 1947 in Bath County, Virginia to the late John Harper Shaffier, Sr. and Hazel Almira Lowry Shaffier. She was a caregiver throughout her life and preceded in death by a brother, John H. Shaffier, Jr. and a sister, Charlotte Waugh.
She is survived by a sister, Peggy Carpenter and a brother, James “Jimmy” Shaffier (Joyce), both of Hot Springs, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. There are no services planned.
