Shannon Lee Thompson

Shannon Lee Thompson, 48 of Salem, Virginia took his Angel by the hand and was led to Heaven on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Shannon is survived by his wife, Tammy K. Thompson; children, Seth Thompson (Kirstin), and Nathan Thompson; bonus daughters, Victoria Givens, and Madi Givens; sister, Donna Lemon (Buddy); and one granddaughter on the way; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.

A special thanks for the support and comfort given when it was needed the most by Dave Robinson (Crystal), and Brian Saul (Melissa).

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at the Valley Word Church located at 1928 Loch Haven Drive, Salem, VA, with Pastor Eddie Crabtree officiating. Friends and family may visit on Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the church.
