Sharon Ann Scott

Sharon Ann Scott, 82, of Salem went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by her children on Sunday February 18, 2024. She was preceded by her husband, Gary Keith Scott; parents, Clarence and Eleanor Tilton; and sister, Ruth Painter.

Mrs. Scott worked in Real Estate for servral years before going to work for Wells Fargo. She retired from Wells Fargo in 2008.

Surviving is her daughter, Kimberly S. Nance; sons, James A. (Tanya) Scott, Chad E. Scott; grandchildren, Jennifer Nance, Jillian Nance, Joshua Nance, Jordan Hunt, Peyton Scott, Maaike Scott, Cameron Scott, and Louise Scott; five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Simpson Funeral Home. 540 366 0707
