Sharon Armstrong Overstreet

Sharon Armstrong Overstreet, 74 of Waxhaw, NC and formerly of Bedford passed away Friday, December 23, 2022 at Legacy Heights Hospice Center. She was born on Saturday, January 10, 1948 in Johnstown, PA, a daughter of the late Warren Armstrong, Jr. and Dorothy Pearl Kime Armstrong. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Perry Overstreet.

She was retired as Administrative Assistant with Hodges Sign Co., was a member of the Woman of the Moose #1005, and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

She is survived by her sons, Robert W. Klampfer & wife, Rowena, Randy J. Klampfer & wife, Beth; daughter, Melissa L. Brown; step-son, Brian K. Overstreet & wife, Stephanie; grandchildren, Mena, Josef, Evan & John (J.T.) Klampfer, Charis, Emily, & Hannah Overstreet, Sarah Whitaker; great grandchild, Luca Klampfer and her special friends, Madelyn Dudley, Lula Bowyer, Barbara Whitaker.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Greenwood Cemetery at 11 AM on Friday, December 30, 2022. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
