Sharon Trent

Sharon Leigh Trent, 69, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 14, 1955, to the late William Trent & Eleanor Lackey Trent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Trent.

Sharon honorably served in the United States Army. Later in life, she worked as a Mail Clerk at the Post Office and was a member of Collinsville Church of the Brethren. Sharon loved Duke basketball, her fur babies, Betsy, Max, Luca, Minnie, and Bailey, and spending time with her family and friends.

Sharon leaves behind the following family and friends to cherish her memory: children, Troy Odell, Sr (Marquitta) and Shannon Odell; siblings, Donnie Trent, Penny Trent, Michael Trent (Peggy), and Kathryn Trent; grandchildren, Troy Odell, Jr., Trey Odell, and Nathan Brown; and special friend, Terri Cook.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 12:00 PM, at Collinsville Church of the Brethren, with Pastor Roy McVey officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service. A burial will immediately follow at Trent Family Cemetery.
