Sheila Kay Barber

Mrs. Sheila Kay Leonard Barber, 78, of Pinnacle passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born in Davidson County on July 31, 1945, to the late Paul and Iris Grubb Leonard. Mrs. Barber retired from Neighbors Store in 2010, after many years of employment. She is survived by her significant other, Edward Dishman; uncle, Sunny Grubb; cousin’s, Cynthia Carpenter, Donna Stealman, and Lynn Ferrara. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barber was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Barber. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jonathan Casstevens officiating. Burial will follow in Midkiff Cemetery.
