Shelia Kay Ferguson

Shelia Kay Ferguson, 63 of Moneta, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Friday, December 11, 1959 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Loyd James Ferguson and Audrey Janet Ayers Ferguson.

She was a member of Staunton Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Lanette Arthur; grandson, Tyler Angle; brother, James "Bo" Ferguson; sisters, Jennie Hale (Donald), Rita Morgan, Connie Hamrick (Mick), Vickie Carter as well as many nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1 PM on Sunday, February 5, 2023 Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Western Light Cemetery.
