Shirley K. White

Shirley K. White passed away peacefully at the age of 76 years old, on July 23, 2025, in Roanoke Virginia.

Shirley was born on January 20, 1949, to Richard S White and Eleanor Cooper in West Virginia. She graduated from Paseo High School, in Kansas City, MO. After graduating from high school Shirley took a few courses at Moorpark Junior College in CA. Shirley worked as a legal secretary and as a clerk before retiring from the US Postal Service.

Shirley had a passion for painting nature scenes and enjoyed dancing, swimming, snow skiing and water skiing and bowling leagues in Simi Valley, CA and Roanoke, VA.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Jonelle Frederico, brother, Richard S. White II, sister-in-law Gloria White, niece, Carrie White, and nephew, Spencer White.

Shirley was also proceeded in death by her parents Richard S. White and Eleanor Cooper.

At Shirley White’s request, no formal service will be held. A private family gathering and Celebration of Life will be held in Missouri at a later date.
