Shirley Lucas Reiva

Reiva, Shirley Lucas, age 88, of Blacksburg, Virginia went to be with her Lord, Sunday, December 22, 2024, at her home. She was born in Blacksburg, Virginia on January 19, 1936, to the late Hatcher Watkins and Betty Lou Price Lucas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Reiva; sisters, Katherine Reynolds, Joyce Robinson; brothers, Ray, Don, and Danny Lucas. Shirley and Eugene met while they were both serving in the United States Airforce. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Shelane and Clifton Walters and Angie and Richard Absher; grandchildren, Derick Walters (Meredith), Jarred Walters (Melanie), Brad Absher (Amanda), and Katie Shelby (Matt); great-grandchildren, Sage, Willow, Bodhi, Everly, Nash, Elsie, and Dax; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Jimmy Albert, sister-in-law, Betty Lucas, and special friend, Charlotte Wright. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kevin Albert and Rev. Jaden Cook officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Friday, December 27, 2024, prior to the service.
