Shirley Lynn Lambert Dillow

SHIRLEY LAMBERT DILLOW, 71, of Bland, VA, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home. She was born April 18, 1952 in Ceres, VA, the daughter of Frazier & Virginia Lambert.

Shirley was a special mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed her life by loving her animals, her garden and painting. She will be forever loved and dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frazier Filmore Lambert & Virginia Thompson Lambert, her brother, Julian and sisters, Shelia Lambert, Clois Lambert and Phyllis Clemons.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Donnie Dillow, Sr.; her children, Chris Tickle, Samantha & Jamie Gray, Scotty & Thelma Tickle, Donnie, Jr. & Barbara Dillow and Jessie Dillow; her grandchildren, Timmy, Shaine, Brandon, Cade, Eric, Savannah, Robert, Britney, Zach, Alley, Katie, Kyle, Kaleb and Patrick; and many loving great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 7:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Robert Epperson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until service time, 7:00 P.M. Graveside committal services will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Morning Star Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
