Shirley White

Shirley White passed to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. She was predeceased by her father and mother, Ernest and Genevieve C. White; sister, Barbara Burnette; brother, Jimmy White. Shirley is survived by her loving daughter, Melanie Capito; former husband and love of her life, Jack Michael Capito; sisters, Linda Early (John), Brenda Wheeler; brother-in-law, Terry Capito (Betsy); sister-in-law, Peggy St. Clair; nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces; aunts, uncles, numerous lifelong friends.

Shirley worked for Building Specialists for 16 years. She was a member of Edgewood Christian Church.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held following visitation starting at 11 a.m.at Edgewood Christian Church, 1006 Peck Street, NW, Roanoke, Va. 24017. Pastor Sheldon Cosma will be officiating the service.
