Skyler Evan Rorrer

Skyler Evan Rorrer, 24, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023. He was born April 24, 1999 in Martinsville, to James Carl Dean Rorrer and Ginger Annette Foley Davis.He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Dean Pruitt.Skyler had been employed in maintenance and attended One Accord Baptist Church. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, camping, drawing, and cooking, especially baked spaghetti. He loved spending time at the beach.In addition to his parents, Skyler is survived by his father, Homer Buford Davis; his significant other, Haley Alleen Dodson; son, Myles Jay Rorrer; sisters, Amber Irene Davis and Kayla Brooke Davis; brothers, Christopher Dean Davis and Isreal Logan Rorrer; paternal grandmother, Debra Sue Galvan; maternal grandparents, Cynthia Deloris Foley and James Chester Foley; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 5:30 PM at One Accord Baptist Church, 3630 Kings Mountain Road, Martinsville, with Pastor Blake Neal officiating.
