In Loving Memory of Stacey Nicole Borders Clark
November 10, 1971 – June 3, 2025

STACEY NICOLE BORDERS CLARK, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, left her work on this earth to be with her heavenly Father. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith. Born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 10, 1971, Stacey’s life was marked by compassion, courage, unending love, and a deep devotion to her family and the Lord.

From an early age, Stacey blazed her unique trail. At just five years old, she joined an all-boys baseball team, fearlessly stepping up to the plate when no girls' teams were available. That same spirit of determination carried her through a diverse love of sports, including soccer, basketball, and then softball at Northmont High School, where she became an All-State athlete and a proud member of the Northmont Thunderbolts. Her passion and dedication on the field mirrored the way she lived her life—fully committed and always with heart. This drove her to achieve her Master's Degree in Adult Education and Training through the University of Phoenix, and then a much-loved career as a counselor at the University of Arizona.  When asked what her role was, she would proudly tell you every time, "I change lives."  That she did for numerous students down through the years, helping them realize their dreams.

But Stacey’s greatest accomplishments were off the field. She was a devoted and loving pastor's wife, caring and giving of herself for their congregation as she would her own family, and the kind of mother others aspire to be. Her two sons, Nathan and Ethan, were the pride and joy of her life. She poured her heart into raising them with love, grace, and strength, and she never stopped cheering them on.

A woman of profound faith, she never wavered. Stacey’s greatest love was the Lord. Her relationship with God was not only personal—it radiated outward in every word, every action, and every connection she made. Her kindness was boundless, her generosity endless. She never hesitated to go above and beyond to help others, often putting the needs of friends, family, and even strangers ahead of her own. Always wearing that trademark smile, if you were with her for even an hour, you knew her life story, and she had yours.

She was an incredible aunt, a loyal sister, and a cherished daughter, always showing up with care and concern, an open heart, and words of encouragement. Her presence brought comfort, and her laugh brought joy. She was a faithful confidant, voice of reason, hand to hold, and spiritual shoulder to lean on.

Stacey lived a life of meaning and mission. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we celebrate a life so beautifully lived in Christ. Her faith, love, and light continue to shine in all who were blessed to know her.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished as we hold her in our hearts now and always.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." – Matthew 25:23
