Stephanie Dischiavi Pearson

Stephanie Dischiavi Pearson, 71, passed away at her residence on December 28, 2025. Stephanie was born in Liverpool England on September 16, 1954 to the late Mary Riding Shelton and the late Rudolph Dischiavi. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Michael John Pearson.

She worked for many years as a teacher, last teaching at Greensboro Technical College, previous to her retirement.

Stephanie is survived by two daughters; Jane Pearson (Michael) and Julie Smith (Cullen); a son; Matthew Pearson (Emma); three brothers; Paul Shelton (Barbara), James Shelton (Michelle) and Stephen Dischiavi; and six grandchildren; Natalie, Nathan, Emily, Olivia, Theo, and Storm.

In addition to her parents and husband, Stephanie was predeceased by a sister; Mary Dishiavi Hughes.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
