Stephen Draper

Stephen “Stevie” Wayne Draper, 61, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He was born June 15, 1962, in Danville, Virginia, to the late Elmer Ray Draper and Nell Glenwood Bennett Draper.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Glen Draper.Stevie attended and was baptized at Pleasant Grove United Methodist church. He loved everything about the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Stevie was fun loving and full of life. He loved his family and especially enjoyed and cherished the time he spent with his nephew, Ken. Stevie loved tie dye and many different types of music, especially the Grateful Dead.He was survived by his sister, Betsy Draper; nephew, Ken Draper; great niece, Emily Draper; numerous cousins; and many friends in the community.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
