Steve Edwards, 95, of Bassett, Virginia had his "home going" on April 2, 2026 after a brief illness. He was born in Sylvatus, Virginia on June 6, 1930. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Nancy and their two sons, Stephen and Todd. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, 4:00pm to 6:00pm, at First Baptist Church, Collinsville, Virginia. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, 12:00pm at First Baptist Church, Collinsville, Virginia with Rev. Dr. Larry Cheek officiating. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park, Martinsville, Virginia.
