Steven Keith Lilly

Steven Keith Lilly, 65, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday, February 16, 2024. He was born August 16, 1958, in Seaford, Virginia, to the late Julius “Norman” Lilly and Gloria Hairston Lilly.Steven was a graduate of William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia. He enjoyed wood working, crafting, and collecting coins. He had a love for animals especially his horse, Abigail and his cat, Merlin.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Bruce Lilly.He is survived by his wife, Julie Thompson Lilly; sons, Richard Barrow (Melanie) of Ridgeway, Virginia and Ryan Barrow of Rockingham, North Carolina; grandchildren, Hunter Barrow, Kaylee Barrow, Rebekah Barrow, and Nathaniel Barrow.A private Celebration of Life will be celebrated at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Martinsville SPCA or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
