Steven Michael Foust

Steven Michael Foust, Sr., 74, passed away on May 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born on November 13, 1950, to the late Helen Marie Short Foust and the late Bobby Gene Foust. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Debra Crumpton Foust.

Steve was of the Christian faith and a faithful member of Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he served in the men’s ministry fellowship and choir. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, and most of all, loved his family and his Lord.

In addition to his wife, Steve is survived by a son; Steven Michael Foust, Jr. of Brown Summit, NC; a daughter; Carrie Hyler (Kevin) of Forest, VA; grandchildren; Aiden Hyler and Avery Hyler; nieces; Melissa Foust, Meredith Kramer, Courtney Babaoff, Jackie Humphreys, and Taylor Shore; two nephews; Matt Crumpton and Adam Bauguess; brother- in-law; Earl Crumpton and wife Sherri; and had a special love for his entire church family.

In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by a brother; Tony Lee Foust.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church Ponnies Fund, 16300 Mt. Cross Road, Dry Fork, VA 24549.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 4:00pm at Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dry Fork, VA, with Pastor Mike Hearp officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 6-7:00pm also at Swansonville Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dry Fork, VA. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
