Steven Ray Durham

Steven “Bull” Ray Durham, 66, of Cascade, VA passed away Friday, April 12, 2024. He was born on April 30, 1957, to Charles Douglas Durham, Sr., and the late Shirley Parnell Durham. In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by brothers Charles D. Durham, Jr., and Anthony Durham.Steve worked for Jacob’s Contracting LLC for 23 years where work felt like a family gathering. He was dedicated to his family, friends, and coworkers. He loved his grandchildren dearly.He is survived by his wife, the love of his life of forty-four years Deborah Jo Lillard Durham; sons, Justin Durham (Holley) and Charles Conard, Jr.; grandchildren, Kayla Rae Conard, Makenzie Jo Durham, Paige Elisabeth Durham, and Case Jackson Durham; sister, Judy Sauer; and numerous nieces and nephews.A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Wilson Lillard Family Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Mayberry will be officiating the service.“Papa says afterwhile crocodile.”
