Steven Wayne Silcott

Steven Wayne Silcott, 76, of Salem, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 2, 2025. He was born on September 17, 1948, in Hinton, West Virginia to Nellie Logan and Harvey J. Silcott. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Delores Perkins.

Steven is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bonnie Bramlett Silcott; his beloved daughter Tammy Silcott Wickham (Mark); his beloved son, Steven Silcott II (Erin); his grandchildren Ryan Nolen, Ashley Wickham, and S. Reagan Silcott III; sister Mabel Webb (Bobby).

Steven graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in ’66. He worked as a V.P. of Rowe Furniture for 38 years. He was an avid golfer with six holes in one a deadeye Acushnet putter who cherished his time with numerous friends over the years. He was a longtime member of the Penguin Club.

A period of visitation will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem. Funeral services will be conducted directly following, starting at 3 p.m., with Pastor Tommy Price officiating. Interment will follow on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5731 Airport Rd NW, Roanoke, Va.
