Susann Bruce

Susann Bruce, 53, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025. She was born to William Bruce and Lola Hairston.

She was preceded in death by her brother Christopher Bruce.

Susann was a woman of strength, love and honesty, known as the rock her family could always lean on. She attended and graduated from John Red and Fieldale-Collinsville High School and carried those values of dediction and integrity with her throughout life. Susann found her greatest joy in the simple yet meaningful moments – spending time with her grandchildren, walking, and being surrounded by those she loved most. She was an honest and truthful person whose steady presence and caring heart were a constant source of support for her family. Her love and strength will remain a guiding light for all who were blessed to know her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kemonie Le’Quan Bruce, Tamara Nicole Bruce; son, Michael Devon Bruce; sister, Mary Ann Bruce; brothers; Junior Bruce, William Bruce, Ralph Bruce; grandchildren, Richard Lee Hannon IV and Naria Tarynn Nicole Smith.

The funeral will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 1:30 – 2:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. A visitation will be held one-half hour prior to the service.
