Susie "Polly" Pauline Bryant

Susie Pauline Bryant, 95, of Salem, VA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 3, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Francisco; husband, Willie Bryant; son-in-law, Mike Wilkins; great-granddaughter, Kendall Bryant.

Her surviving family includes sons, Willie Bryant and Kenneth Bryant (Margaret); daughters, Christine Allen and Cynthia Wilkins; sister, Helen Nichols; grandchildren, Timmy, Scott, Bridgett, Nicole, Mychal, Brandi, Candice, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Cody, Derrick, Zac, Ethan, Will, McKenzie, Maddox, Kyemper, Kyendall, Kaylee, Gatlin, Cade, Scottie, Haven, Holton, and Lucy.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 7, 2023, from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. Funeral services honoring Susie’s life will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home’s chapel with Pastor Sonny Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Roanoke. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
