Tamara Anne Hundley

Tamara Anne Hundley courageously left us surrounded by her closest friends, her loving partner, and family on February 13, 2026. Tamara took on the last few months with determination, strength, and a constant smile.

Tamara was born April 12, 1956 to June and the late Fred Hundley. She graduated from George Washington High School in 1974. For nearly 5 decades, Tamara livened up the workplace of CIT.

Tamara never met a stranger and was loved by many. Her sense of humor, smile, and courage will always be remembered.

Tamara and her partner, Robert Anderson could frequently be seen at the VIR race tracks, camping with friends, or just enjoying life to the fullest.

Tamara will be forever missed by her Mother, June Oakley (Buddy). Her son, Ben Hodges (Maggie). She will forever be adored by her two grandchildren, Amelia and Wyatt. She will leave an empty place in the heart of her siblings; Judy Redpath (Jerry) and their two sons Thomas and Phillip, Beth Driscoll (Earl) and John Hundley and daughter Hannah.

A family visitation will be held on Saturday February 21, 2026 from 10:30-11:30am. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 11:30am at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the ask that donations be made to the Danville-Pittsylvania County Cancer Association or Commonwealth Home Hospice and Nursing.
