Tammy Diane Guill
Tammy Diane Adkins Guill went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 30, 2025, after a decline in health. Tammy was born on August 7, 1961, in Danville, VA, to Joyce McBride and K. Gerald Adkins, Sr., who predeceased her.
Tammy was a born-again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and an avid student of the Word of God. She was in fellowship at Danville Bible Chapel. In her lifetime, she was a fluent Spanish speaker, a lover of books, an avid flower gardener, a talented seamstress, crocheter, felt flower creator, and general handcraft expert. She was certified in phlebotomy, took many courses at DCC, and worked in the Activities Department of Roman Eagle Nursing Home for almost 15 years. However, her most treasured occupation was that of being a loving stay-at-home mom and homemaker. She was a wonderful wife, an amazing mother, and a cherished grandmother.
She leaves behind an enormous family that loved her. Survivors include her loving husband, Barry Guill; her children, Angela W. Pendry (Jason), Michael Worsham (Catherine), and Jessica Worsham (Matthew Shepherd); seven grandchildren, Brittany, Abigail, Autumn, Jason Michael, Macy, Michael, and Emily, and two great-grandchildren, Connor and Kennedy. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Kenneth Adkins, Jr., David Adkins, and Tracy A. Ray, a special aunt, Diane Sasser, former husband and friend, Billy Worsham, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation to receive friends will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Service, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times, the family will receive visitors at the home of Angela Pendry at 6061 Kenridge Circle, Danville, VA.
Following the visitation, the funeral service will also be held at the Mt. Hermon Chapel of Norris Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m., with Brother Mark Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at the Doss Family Cemetery, 302 Hedge Road, Chatham, VA 24531.
