Tammy Gayle Parker

Tammy Gayle Parker, 50, of Eagle Rock, Virginia, went to be with her mother, sister and other loved ones in Heaven on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Born, on February 8, 1975, to Gerald Fielder and the late Joyce Hill Fielder, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Charlene Murray.

Tammy always saw the best in everybody and loved caring for and helping others who had need. She adored animals and had, throughout her lifetime, a menagerie of pets – dogs, cats and birds. When she was able to work, she was employed at J.C. Penney, Valley View, in apparel. She saw the value in little things and was a collector of pearls and unique tumblers, often purchasing duplicates for gifting.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her father, Gerald Fielder; son, Dakota Parker and his wife, Justice Cioffa; fiancé, Bill Rowland; grandchildren, Gracelynn Parker and Gabriel Parker; niece, Brittani Murray; nephew, Gregory Fielder; as well as a large extended family.

The family will welcome friends for a memorial gathering on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Parkway Church, 3645 Orange Ave., Roanoke, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider planting a rose bush someplace special in your yard in memory of Tammy.
