Tammy Lynn Martin

Tammy Lynn Martin, 63, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025. She was born November 2, 1961, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late George Jackson Martin and Terry Adeline Ashby Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Zach Martin.

Tammy was a member of Abundant Life Fellowship Church and was a 1980 graduate of Bassett High School. She loved everyone, especially her nieces, nephews, and all of her family. Tammy had a heart of gold, she was always doing, for others and made sure you knew how much she loved you. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating. One of her favorite pastimes was reading, especially romance novels.

She is survived by her brothers, Todd Martin (Janet), Brian Martin; niece, Haley Martin; nephew, Blake Martin; uncle, Bill Martin; several cousins, extended family, and friends.

A special thank you to her care givers, Todd and Janet Martin, for all the love and care they provided.

A memorial service will be held Saturday September 6, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Wright Funeral Service Bassett Chapel, 1230 Oak Level Road, Bassett, Virginia, with Bishop David Farmer officiating. A visitation will be held one-half hour prior to the service.
