Tammy Lynn Thomas
Tammy Lynn Thomas, 60, of Amherst, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, surrounded by her children.

Tammy’s heart was filled with love for her Lord and Savior, gardening, birds, animals, children and a compassion for helping people, especially the less fortunate. She was always rescuing a child or assisting someone in need.
In her spare time you could find her weeding her flower beds or vegetable garden, watching the birds on her bird feeders, making hummingbird nectar, playing with her grandchildren, creating some kind of craft, making her famous chicken salad or feeding friends and family in her home.
Her smile, sense of humor, compassion for others, love for her family and quick wit will be missed the most.
In memory of Tammy’s life and the love she shared with all of us, we will find her in every butterfly and carry her in our hearts forever, hearing her voice in every “I love you most”
