Mr. Teddy Aldean Medley, age 87, formerly of Dobson, passed away Monday, August 21. Mr. Medley was born November 30, 1935, in Surry County, to the late Lucian Medley and the late Nora Royall Medley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donese Southard Medley; and his brother, Larry Medley; and his sister-in-law, Linda Janice Cranfill.
            Left to cherish his memories are his son, Christopher Medley; his brother, Vernon Medley; nieces, Paula Moore, and Renee Hartman; a nephew, Marty Medley; and great nieces, Haley Cook, Shannon Skaggs, and Samantha Moore. Mr. Medley was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, and great uncle. He retired from Gravely International, and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
            Visitation will be Friday, August 25, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services will begin at 12:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel, with Dr. Billy Nale officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 7659 Highway 268, Dobson NC 27017. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in serving the Medley family.
