Teresa Dianne Craig Henderson

September 16, 1949 - December 24, 2025

Known for her kindness, deep love for her family, and her service to the Lord, Teresa Dianne Craig Henderson entered Heaven in the early morning hours on December 24, 2025 surrounded by her family.

Teresa was born September 16, 1949 in Danville, VA to Samuel “Ed” and Jurelda Craig. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Sharon Craig, Susan Craig, and Kenny Craig.

Teresa loved to serve the Lord. As a member of North Main Baptist Church for 50 years, she was a Sunday School teacher and AWANA leader until 2021. Her passion was to teach children about Jesus and help them to grow in their faith.

Teresa worked as an Administrative Assistant for Wyatt and Associates for nearly 40 years. She was still working part time for Walker Contractors until her health began to decline November, 2025.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill Henderson of the home, sons Craig Henderson (Carol) of Collinsville, VA and Kevin Henderson of Danville, VA, grandchildren Peyton Henderson, Cameron Henderson, and Ainsley Henderson, sister Sandra Strader (Phil) of Pelham, NC, and special dog, Millie of the home.

A special thank you to Sandi Lester, with whom Teresa had a special bond, for helping to take care of Teresa as her health failed, MediHome Hospice Staff, and Mount Hermon Fire and Rescue. A visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2025 6:00pm-7:30pm at Norris Funeral Home 3995 Franklin Turnpike Danville, VA. The funeral will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at North Main Baptist Church 2818 N. Main Street Danville, VA beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow the service at Floral Hills Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the home of Kevin Henderson 1716 Maple Drive Danville, VA.
