Teresa Lynn (Finney) Angel

Mrs. Teresa Lynn Finney Angel, age 70 of Mount Airy, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Angel was born on July 29, 1955, in Surry County to the late George and Laura Easter Finney. Teresa was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was strong in the Baptist faith and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Chris Fletcher and Amanda, Marc Angel and Shawna; three grandchildren, Jackson Fletcher, Cassidee Fletcher, McKinley Wood; a sister, Shelia Finney Jackson; two nieces, Christy Davis and Robin Watson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Angel was preceded in death by a daughter Denise Wood; grandson, Todd McCraw; sister, Kathy Finney. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Reverend Scott Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens in Mount Airy. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Moody Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Central Continuing Care, specifically, Gloria Reece, for the love and compassionate care shown to Mrs. Angel.
