Teresa Smart Milligan

Teresa Smart Milligan, 60, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023. She was born January 14, 1963, in Martinsville, Virginia, to Hazel Hughes Smart and the late Robert Smart.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Milligan.Teresa was a former truck driver for Western Express Trucking Company. She loved sweets, riding motorcycles, driving semi-trucks, and working in the yard. Her grandchildren were her whole world.She is survived by her daughters, Angela Jones (Jeffery) and Jessica Bailey (Andrew); sister, Deana Peters; brothers, Dwayne Smart (Kimberly), and Terry Smart; grandchildren, Gage Ragans, Caleb Ragans Nicholas Durham, Hunter Durham, and Colton Kuczinski and step-grandchild Ava Bailey.A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, September 13, at 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jonathan Goins officiating.
