Terry Lynn Shoemaker

Terry Lynn Shoemaker, 45, of Madison Heights, VA was called to his heavenly home on Friday, December 1, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Terry lost his battle with a prolonged illness. He was born in Lynchburg, VA on March 4, 1978. He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan Shoemaker; and his brother, Michael Shoemaker. He is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Angela Shoemaker; father, Albert Shoemaker, brother, Danny Shoemaker and wife Gina Crago; sister Jennifer Wood and husband Aaron; stepchildren, Chris, Nick, Brandon; six step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Terry was a well-loved husband, brother, son, and friend. He loved and enjoyed family time at the beach with his toes in the sand and a fishing pole in his hand. The family would like to thank Centra Hospice; giving special thanks to his nurse Brooke Harris for the wonderful, fulfilling love and care she gave Terry. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Lynchburg Harvest Baptist Church, 2571 Carter Street with Pastor Mark Snowden officiating.
