Thelma Ann Davis

Thelma Ann Davis, 68, of Danville, Virginia, transitioned from this life Saturday, August 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Chatham, Virginia, on November 15, 1956, to the late Ella Wilson Martin.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Davis, and her daughter, Melissa Davis.

Thelma attended Stoney Mill School in Pittsylvania County and worked 17 years for Bassett Walker in the furniture industry. She had a fun-loving personality, living life to the fullest; she enjoyed dancing, rapping, and enjoying a good meal with friends and family. Thelma was known for her kind spirit, warm heart, and love for her family. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her smile, wisdom, and generosity. Her home was filled with love and laughter, making everyone feel welcomed.

Left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Ruby Davis; sons, Antonio Wilson, Tyrone Davis, Jessie Davis, and Raven Wilson; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private; the family wishes to extend their gratitude for the many acts of kindness, love, and support during this difficult time.
