Thelma Mae Miller Wilkes

Thelma Mae Miller Wilkes passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Richfield Health Center in Salem, Virginia. She was loving, sweet, kind, strong, resilient 93 years young. She was a devoted & loving wife to Landon Gene Wilkes(deceased 2011).

Thelma was dearly loved & cherished by her surviving family: Son, Landon G. Wilkes, Jr of Raleigh, N.C; Daughter, Trina W. Moran & husband, Ronnie , of Salem, Virginia; Grandchildren, Selina Jo Shoaf(Brady),Trevor Wilkes , & Jill Kaitlyn Shaffer (Jake);Greatgrandchildren, Brady Shoaf, Jr.,Lucas Shoaf, & baby Luke Livingston Nicholas Shaffer.

On mom’s last visit upon seeing baby Luke, she said “Jesus is Love.”

We love you, Mom, Mama Mia, Mawmaw !We will miss you, dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Fairview Cemetery.
