Theresa Earles

Theresa Sigmon Earles, 66, of Collinsville left this earth on January 5th, 2023, surrounded by her family at home. She was born on December 9th, 1956, in Rocky Mount to the late Emmitt Lewis Sigmon and the late Gracie Mae Shively Sigmon. Theresa is survived by her husband of 40 years, Cletus Earles; son, Brandon Earles (Emily); daughter, Angie Dalton (Russell); grandchildren, Grace, Parker and Matthew; brother, Thomas Sigmon (Pat); twin brother, Terry Sigmon (Patricia); sisters, Thelma Wright (Tommy), Thurley Wright (Carl), and Tilda Sigmon; half-brothers, Dennis Sigmon (Susan), Lewis Sigmon, David Ayers; half- sisters, Doris Worrell and Vicky Newman. Theresa graduated from Bassett High School. She worked at Panel Knitting, Belk, was a substitute teacher for Henry County Public Schools and a homemaker. Theresa loved children and was a mother to all her children’s friends. She loved the beach, her shoes and dressy outfits. She loved all animals, especially her dog, BooBoo. She was a Christian and longtime member of Stone Memorial Christian Church.A Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday, January 11th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Stone Memorial Christian Church, 3030 Virginia Ave, Collinsville with Tim Woods officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
