Thomas Britt Hayes

Thomas (Tommy) Britt Hayes, Age 73, passed away peacefully June 24, 2025 with family by his side.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents William and Mae Hayes, brother Bob Nowlin and his wife Martha, sister Billie Britt, nephew Jack Booth,

brother-in-law Don Connor and special brother in-law Russell Francisco who was always there to help.

He is survived by his sisters Betty Connor, Kitty (George) Testerman, Gaye Francisco, Linda Hayes, Jackie (Butch) Frantz, Bonnie (Doug) Beheler. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces. We would especially like to thank his niece Dana Meador who helped Tommy before and during his illness. He is also survived by his long-time friends Bo Simmons and Butch Burdette.

Tommy loved his family, riding his motorcycle and golfing.

The family would like to thank the staff in Chemo and Radiation at Lewis Gale in Salem and also the staff at Lewis Gale Hospital Montgomery and Good Samaritan Hospice for the wonderful care he was given.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
