Thomas "Critter" Dwight Foley

Thomas “Critter” Dwight Foley, 49, of Henry, VA, passed away on Sunday June 25, 2023, peacefully at his residence. He was born on May 28, 1974, to Steve D. Foley and Debra Lackey Foley. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Archie T. Foley, Mary F. Cundiff, Robert E. Lackey, and Pete Craddock; sister, Olivia Foley; and beloved dog, Tigger.

He was a member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church in Ferrum, where he loved his church family. He loved laughter, racing, water, fishing, hunting, and dogs. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a self-employed mechanic.

Dwight is survived by # 1 wife, Sandra Snapp; one daughter, Isabella; and one son, Alex; aunts: Cindy Cross (Dick), Cindy Spencer (Darrell), and Kim Joyce (Randy); one uncle, David Lackey; grandmother, Pansy Craddock, and one beloved dog, Sam Sam; along with a host of other family and friends. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Chapel of Bassett Funeral Service with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am, with Dustin Spencer and Pastor Terry Covey officiating. Burial will be at Henry Memorial Park immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Victory Junction Camp, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, North Carolina, 27317.
