Thomas Edward Custer, 87, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. He was born on May 27, 1938 to the late Wilson O. Custer & Lucille Andrews Custer.
Thomas served in the United States Navy as a welder.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Custer; sisters, Betty Custer Fariss, Brenda Custer Dooley & Carolyn Custer Bryant; brother, Barry W. Custer; several nieces & nephews.
A graveside will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, VA, 23002.
