Thomas Ervin Deal

Mr. Thomas “Robert” Ervin Deal, age 91, of Stuart, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 9, 1933 to the late Kiley Deal and Dovie Martin Deal. In addition his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Virginia Deal and Julia Blevins Deal.

Robert was a lifetime member of Patrick Springs Volunteer Fire Department and JEB Stuart Rescue Squad. He retired from Stovall Lumber Company.

Mr. Deal is survived by a nephew, Phillip Earles (Nina Hylton); nieces and nephews, Lucian Hutchens, Mike Blevins, Liza Hiatt, Coty Blevins; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoe Hutchens, Sierra Hutchens, Destiny Blevins and Nathan Hiatt.

Funeral services for Mr. Deal will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. Prior to the service a visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Earles and Deal Family Cemetery in Patrick Springs, VA 24133.
